- Original stone-paved path built by the Incas
- Steep ascent, recommended only for individuals without fear of heights (vertigo)

- Total round-trip time (up and down): 2 hours
- Spectacular view of the entire archaeological park and its surroundings
- Trail with drop-offs on both sides: requires extreme concentration and caution
- Capacity: 400 visitors per day (2 groups)
Itinerario completo
- We depart Cusco at 07:00 a.m. and reach the modern town of Pisac in just 40 minutes. Next, we visit the Pisac archaeological park. Throughout this short journey, we will enjoy panoramic views and viewpoints overlooking the beauty of the Sacred Valley.
- After the visit, we descend back to the town of Pisac and follow the route through the entire valley to Ollantaytambo, where we will take our guided tour.
- Upon completion, we transfer directly to the train station to catch our train to Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). When we arrive at the station, the hotel transfer will be waiting to take us to our accommodation.
Note: The briefing for the following day can be arranged after dinner at the hotel.
Optional: If time permits in the evening, we can visit the hot springs to enjoy a natural massage and relax after exploring the Sacred Valley.
- After an unhurried breakfast at the hotel, our guide will lead us to the ancient Inca citadel by taking the shuttle bus up to the site.
- Once inside the park, we will enjoy a relaxed, guided tour lasting approximately 3 hours. At the end of the tour, the guide will say goodbye after providing all necessary instructions.
- Keeping track of your schedule, you will take the shuttle bus down to Machu Picchu town to board the return train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our driver will be waiting with your name to take you back to Cusco.
- The van ride from Ollantaytambo to Cusco takes approximately 2 hours. Once in the city, we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas or, if preferred, at your hotel.
